Course Details:

The Beginners Meditation and Stress Management course is suitable for complete beginners, intermediate levels or people wishing to return to Meditation.  During the course participants will be able to experience a variety of meditation styles.  

  

The Meditation styles taught are non-religious and suitable for people from all cultural backgrounds.  

  

During this course students will learn about the cause and effect of stress, basic breathing techniques, what meditation is and how to develop your own practice.  We will also explore stress management tools and strategies and various meditation styles.  

  

At the end of the course participants will have acquired the confidence to explore their own meditation practice and an idea of which meditation style they prefer.  They will gain an understanding of the stress response, what role stress plays in their lives and how they can implement tools to reduce the effects stress has on them.

  

Participants will leave at the end of the day feeling calmer and more balanced with reduced stress and anxiety and the knowledge required to recreate that state for themselves.

The course is run over one day - 10am until 4pm

  • we explore different meditation and relaxation styles throughout the day.

During the day there will be plenty of practical time for you to grasp the techniques and be confident in incorporating them in your own home practice.

Course cost is $150.00 paid in full prior to the course commencing.
